Abstract :This paper reports a list of plants occurring in the Iheya-Izena shoto. IheyaIzena shoto lies north-west of Okinawa proper, and is situated between latitudes 26°53' N and 27°05' N, and between longitudes 127°54' E and 128°02' E (Fig. 1).This island group includes the following islands: Iheya-shima, Noho-shima,Gushikawa-shima, Izena-shima, Yanoshita-shima and Yanaha-shima.There is a total of 662 species listed in this report of which 47 are Pteridophyta,4 are Gymnospermae, 415 are Dicotyledoneae and 196 are Monocotyledoneae.The species occurring on each of the islands are shown in Table 4.
