Abstract :This research work was conducted to verify about the flying behavior of hummingbird for plant flowers in winter season in Corrientes, Argentina. Research was also carried out to keep a record photographs of the hoverring hummingbird related with proper flowers. Corrientes is located under the subtropical climate along the Rio Parana on 26 latitude in South Hemisphere. Corrientes is famous as one of the most beautiful city in Argentina which is covered with many plants and flowers. Results of research works are summarized as follows. 1. Period of low temperature season from April to end of August is suitable for observasion of activating hummingbirds because of less plants on flowering. The other months in Corrientes is hard to find out hummingburds due to many plants have flowers. 2. It was confirmed that Glittering-bellied Emerald (Chlorostilbon aureoventris) is the only one non-migrant bird in Corrientes that I found out a nest with 2 eggs inside in the Estero Ibera. This bird prefers flowers of Ceiba chodattii in April, Hibiscus sp in May, June, July and Lapacho Rosado in August and September. 3. Several spp. of hummingbirds come to the same flowers of Ceiba and also prefer many type of the other flowers. They don't have proper type or shape of flowers. There might be no relationship between birds and flowers shape at the general plains. 4. It was identify that flying insects are also important feeds for the Glittered-bellied Emerald which was able to take photographs in this research work. 5. Taking a photograph of the hovering of hummingbird with peculiar flowers would be an important record because the chances are so rare, especially in the endanger society in Argentina.
