Title :ヒルギダマシの飼料成分および栄養元素組成に関する研究(農芸化学科)

Abstract :マングローブが生育する環境条件下の熱帯, 亜熱帯および乾燥地域に生育するヒルギダマシについて, その植物体を家畜飼料として有効利用するために, 市販飼料のアルファルファキューブと比較検討したところ, 以下のような結果が得られ, ヒルギダマシは家畜飼料として充分に価値の高い植物体の特徴を有することが示唆された。1)ヒルギダマシ葉身中の飼料6成分(水分, 粗蛋白質, 粗脂肪, 粗繊維, 可溶無窒素物および粗灰分)および栄養元素組成(N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Fe, Mn, Zn, Cu, およびNa)の各含量は, 市販飼料のアルファルファキューブ中のそれらの含量に比較して, 特徴的にはほとんど遜色がなかった。2)ヒルギダマシの葉身中にはNa含量が著しく高く, アルファルファキューブ中のそれに比べて9倍量も多かった。この高Na含量の示す特徴により, 家畜飼育過程での必要な塩分補給を大いに助けることが示唆された。3)ヒルギダマシの種実中の飼料成分は, その葉身中のそれに比較して粗脂肪や粗繊維の含量はいずれも低いが, 炭水化物含量として含量として高い特徴を示した。4)ヒルギダマシの葉身中の飼料6成分および栄養元素組成の各含量には, 採取時季の違いによる変動はほとんど認められなかった。5)ヒルギダマシ葉身中の微量栄養元素Fe, Mn, Zn, Cuなどの含量は, その植物が生育する環境条件に左右されて, 含有量のレベルが変動することを示唆した。
The coastal areas of the Southeast Asian tropics and the southwest Japanese subtropics are vegetated by mangrove forest. Also the inland areas of the North African and the West Asian arid climate are vegetated by Avicennia marina VIERH. which is a kind of mangrove. The objective of this study was to investigate the usefulness of Avicennia marina VIERH. (A. marina) for fodder as one of the unused plant resources. Leaves of A. marina were collected at the mouth of the Funaura River in Iriomote island, Okinawa. Upon leaves and seeds of A. marina, the nutritious components and the elemental compositions were determined by the conventional methods and the both were compared with those of alfalfa cube. The contents of the nutritious components in A. marina were 11.1-13.0% in crude protein, 2.1-3.1% in crude fat, 11.5-14.8% in crude fiber, 0.19-0.26% in crude ash, and 56.1-64.7% in nitrogen free extract, respectively. The percentage of the major elemental constituents were 1.78-2.08 in N, 0.16-0.18 in P, 1.41-1.59 in K, 0.80-0.87 in Ca, 0.58-0.80 in Mg and 2.02-2.88 in Na, respectively. The contents of the micro elemental constituents were 354-1937 ppm in Fe, 69-168 ppm in Mn, 160-234 ppm in Zn, and 68-80 ppm in Cu, respectively. These contents in the plant were not much varied by season. The nutritious components and the elemental constituents in the A. marina plant were much similar to those of alfalfa cube except that the content of sodium in the leaves of A. marina was nine times higher than that in alfalfa cube. It was suggested that the contents of Fe, Mn, Zn and Cu in the leaves of A. marina were varied by growing environment. The seeds of A. marina were higher in carbohydrate and lower in both crude fat and crude fiber than the leaves of the plant. It is concluded that it is possible to utilize the A. marina leaves as fodder for livestock because both the nutritious components and the elemental constituents in leaves of A. marina are not inferior to those of alfalfa cube and utilization of the leaves of A. marina may reduce the necessary amount of halite to livestock.
