Title :ネピアグラス (Pennisetum purpureum Schumach) の生産性および飼料価値に関する研究 : 4. 刈取り間隔が栄養価におよぼす影響(畜産学科)

Abstract :刈取り間隔がネピアグラスの栄養価におよぼす影響を検討するため刈取り間隔を1981年には4週間隔, 6週間隔, 8週間隔および10週間隔とし, 1983年には6週間隔, 8週間隔, 10週間隔および12週間隔の試験区を設定し, 1981年には各試験区各刈取りとも葉部と茎部に分離し, 1983年は地上部全植物体をまとめて試料を採取して, 一般成分とNDFおよびNDF構成成分の定量ならびにin vitro乾物消化率を測定した。さらに, 乾物収量にin vitro乾物消化率を乗じて可消化乾物収量を算出し, 次の結果を得た。粗蛋白質, 粗脂肪および粗灰分含量は刈取り間隔が長くなるにしたがって減少したが, NFEおよび粗繊維含量は増加した。NDF, ADF, セルロースおよびグニン含量は刈取り間隔が長くなるにしたがって増加したが, ヘミセルロースおよびシリカ含量は刈取り間隔の影響は認められなかった。In vitro乾物消化率は刈取り間隔が長くなるにしたがって低下し, 試験区間に有意差が認められた。年間10a当りの可消化乾物収量は1981年には4週区1.5t, 6週区1.9t, 8週区2.2t, 10週区2.4tであり, 1983には6週区1.9t, 8週区2.6t, 10週区2.7t, 12週区2.4tで, 両年とも10週区が最も高い直を示した。以上の結果からネピアグラスは刈取り間隔が長くなるにしたがって粗蛋白質含量は減少し, 粗繊維, NDF, ADF, セルロースおよびリグニン含量が増加するため, in uitro乾物消化率は低下した。しかし, 乾物収量は刈取り間隔が長くなるにしたがって増加したので, 可消化乾物収量は8∿10週間隔程度までは増加したが, それ以上の間隔になると乾物消化率の低下度が大きいためしだいに減少する傾向を示した。
The present trial was conducted in order to investigate the effect of cutting interval on the nutritive value and the digestible dry matter yield of napiergrass in 1981 and 1983. The chemical composition, neutral detergent fiber (NDF), constituents of NDF, and in vitro dry matter disappearance were determined as a measure of the nutritive value. The grass was cut at an interval of 4,6,8 and 10 weeks in 1981,and 6,8,10 and 12 weeks in 1983. Chemical analyses were done on the plant samples being divided into the leaves and stems with sheath in 1981,but on the whole plant in 1983. The results obtained were summarized as follows : The contents of crude protein, crude fat and crude ash decreased with the length of cutting interval, but the nitrogen free extract and crude fiber contents increased. The contents of NDF, acid detergent fiber, cellulose and lignin increased with length of cutting interval, but the hemicellulose and silica contents were not significantly affected by the cutting interval. The in vitro dry matter disappearance decreased with the length of cutting interval. In that there was statistical significance among the cutting intervals in 1981,and between 6 weeks and 10 or 12 weeks in 1983. The digestible dry matter yield in 1981 amounted to 1.5,1.9,2.2 and 2.4 tons per 10 are per year at the 4,6,8 and 10 week intervals, respectively. In 1983 it amounted to 1.9,2.6,2.7 and 2.4 tons at the 6,8,10 and 12 week intervals, respectively. It was found from the above that the crude protein, crude fat and crude ash are to decrease with the length of cutting interval, on the other hand the various constituents having high negative correlations with the in vitro dry matter disappearance are to increase and as a result the in vitro dry matter disappearance tend to decrease with the length of cutting interval. Consequently concluded was that longer cutting intervals would cause a decline in the nutritive value of the napiergrass.
