Title :ヤギ第一胃内への強制給餌による生理諸元の変動について(畜産学科)

Abstract :採食行動に伴う体熱生産と第一胃内発酵が反芻家畜の生理諸元に及ぼす詳細な影響を明らかにするため, 採食に伴う生理諸元の変動と第一胃内への強制給餌による生理諸元の変動を比較検討した。正常採食実験において, 正常採食実験開始により呼吸数, 心拍数, 直腸温, 第一胃内中部温及び下部温がそれぞれ15.8回/分から21.7回/分へ, 81.9回/分から111.0回/分へ, 38.31℃から39.35℃へ, 38.68℃から39.76℃へ, 38.93℃から39.96℃へと増加を示した(P<0.01)。強制給餌実験においては強制給餌開始前から給餌開始によって, それぞれ呼吸数, 心拍数, 直腸温, 第一胃内中部温及び下部温は15.9回/分から20.0回/分へ, 79.8回/分から100.1回/分へ, 38.40℃から39.06℃へ, 38.75℃から39.02℃へ, 38.83℃から39.53℃へと増加した(P<0.01), しかし, いずれも正常採食実験値より低い増加であった(P<0.01)。また, 両実験において, 直腸温と第一胃内温との間に有意な相関が認められた(P<0.01)。飲水量は正常採食実験で1337ml/日, 強制給餌実験で592ml/日, 非採食実験で28ml/日と3者間に有意な差があった(P<0.01)。以上のことから, 採食時におけるヤギの呼吸数, 心拍数直腸温およびその他の生理諸元等の増加は採食に伴う体熱産生と第一胃内発酵の両者が大きく関与していることが明らかとなった。
No previous detailed report, which has defined the effects of heat production and fermentation in rumen during feeding in ruminants, has been received, and therefore, the experiments were planned to study the physiological responses to heat production during normal feeding and to rumen fermentation during forced feeding (introducing hay into the rumen immediately). In the normal feeding experiment, respiratory rate, heart rate, rectal temperature, middle rumen temperature and lower rumen temperature were increased from 15.8/min to 21.7/min, from 81.9/min to 111.0/ min, from 38.31℃ to 39.35℃, from 38.68℃ to 39.76℃, and from 38.93℃ to 39.96℃, respectively. In the forced feeding experiment, respiratory rate (15.9/min), heart rate (79.8/min), rectal temperature (38.40℃), middle rumen temperature (38.75℃) and lower rumen temperature (38.83℃) were increased to 20.0/min, 100.1/min, 39.06℃, 39.02℃ and 39,53℃ during forced feeding, respectively. The physiological responses to the normal feeding experiment were higher than those to the forced feeding (p<0.01). There was a relationship between rectal temperature and rumen temperature in the normal feeding and forced feeding experiments (p<0.01). Normal feeding (1337ml/day), forced feeding (592ml/day) and non-feeding (28ml/day) had significantly different effects on water intake (p<0.01). It was proved that the increases of respiratory rate, heart rate, rectal temperature and other physiological responses during normal feeding in the ruminant were mainly caused by both heat production and fermentation in the rumen during normal feeding.
