Title :園芸作物に対する下水汚泥の施用効果と重金属の吸収について(農学部附属農場)

Abstract :急増と重金属類有害物質の含有で処理が問題化している沖縄県の汚泥をジャーガル, マーヂに施用して園芸作物の生育, 収量に及ぼす影響と重金属類有害物質の吸収について調査した。1.作物の生育, 収量に及ぼす汚泥の施用はジャーガル, マーヂのいずれの土壌でも顕著な効果が確認された。しかし汚泥の早期施用や多量施用は不発芽や生育不良等の障害もワケギ, ホウレンソウにみられた。2.汚泥はジャーガル, マーヂに比べ水銀, カドミウム, 鉛, 亜鉛, 銅の含有量が高くヒ素, ニッケル, クローム, マンガンは逆に低かった。作物の必須元素の窒素, リン酸, カルシウムは汚泥に多量に含まれていた。3.供試した全ての作物に水銀の吸収は無かった。しかしヒ素はワケギとホウレンソウに0.4ppm以下の吸収があった。4.ワケギとホウレンソウで汚泥施用の増加に伴なってカドミウムの吸収も高まる傾向を示した。5.汚泥施用によって作物の重金属類吸収は高くなる場合もあるが確実に高まるとは断定できずホウレンソウの鉛は, ニッケル, クローム吸収とキュウリのカドミウム, 鉛吸収は逆に非施用区が高かった。6.重金属類の吸収は果実より葉が高かった。
Pot experiments were carried out in order to investigate effects of sewage sludge on the growth and metal absorption of vegetables in the glasshouse. The sludge was obtained from the Isahama sewage plant and applied to the soil after beeing air-dried. The soils used for the experiment were Jaagaru (a soil derived from marl) and Maaji (a soil derived from limestone). Allium wakegi, spinach, cucumber, melon and chrysanthemum were grown on the respective soils treated with the sludge at the ratios of 0,25,50,75 and 100%. Length, leaf number and fresh weight of the vagetables and fruit weight were measured at harvest, in addition Brix of melon fruit were determined. The solis were analyzed for pH, Hg, As, Cd, Pb, Zn, Cu, Ni, Cr, Mn, Fe, Ca, Mg, N, K_2O, and P_2O_5. The vegetables were also analyzed for such harmful elements as Hg, As, Cd, Pb, Ni and Cr. The analysis showed that the concentrations of Hg, Cd, Pb, Zn, Cu, N, and P_2O_5 in the Sludge were higher than those in the soils. The growth and yields of vegetables and the Brix of melon fruits were favorably affected by applying the sludge at the ratios 25 and 50% in general. The chrysanthemum showed good growth with any rate of sludge application. Nitrogen and Phosphorus of the sludge seemed to have effected on the growth of vegetables and chrysanthemum. The plant analysis showed that Hg was below determinable concentration in the tested vagetables on the all treatments. The concentrations of As, Pb and Cr in the A. wakegi, As, and Cd in the spingch, Cr and Ni. in the cucumber, and Cd, Pb and Cr in the melon fruits tended to increase to some extent by the sludge applications as compared with the vegetables received an ordinary CDU fertilizer.
