Title :学習者のEMG計測,体圧分布計測および意識調査による学校用家具の検討 : 机・椅子の号数変化による中学生の意識および疲労の変化

Abstract :The motions analysis and the muscle activity were measured for ten junior high school students who were using furniture for the school. It continued to the last experiment that made the subjects university students. The desks and the chairs used were the numbers of sizes from the second to sixth sizes of Japanese Industrial Standard, and they were wooden desks and chairs, the height were able to be adjusted. The measurement was based on the height of the desk and the chair of the proper sizes calculated from the height of the students. The height of the desk and the chair was changed into three stages, those were the proper size, the minus one level size and the plus one level size of JIS. The change of the load value and the movement of the center of gravity of load distribution were analyzed with a body pressure profile measuring system. The muscle activity was measured by putting on the electrode to the erector spinae muscle and the trapezius muscle, and using the surface EMG(electromyography). After that, the muscle fatigue was examined by the analysis of RMS(root mean square) method. While measuring it, the student did the work of copying sentences sitting on a chair, and they answered the questionnaire survey concerning height of the desk and the chair and their tiredness. The result of this experiment was as follows. At the fatigue level, a remarkable difference was not seen in the erector spinae muscle and the trapezius muscle in the copying work of 15 minutes though the height of desk and chair was changed. But all of the height of three stages, the muscle activity of erector spinae muscle was larger than that of trapezius muscle. For the movement of the center of gravity of load distribution, the difference of the moved distance between back and forth and right and left was not especially seen though the height was changed. But all of the height of three stages, the moved distance of back and forth was larger than that of right and left. All of the height of three stages, the body pressure of ischiadic nodal point of hips was larger than that of femoral region, but the pressure was not dispersed like the experiment result of the university students when one level high desk and the chair were used. And according to the consciousness investigation by the questionnaire, there were a lot of answers that it was the most appropriate height when the desk and the chair were used at the one level high size of JIS. They felt the desk and the chair too low at the proper size of JIS. Moreover, they felt tiredness most when one level low desk and the chair were used, and there were a lot of answers that especially felt tiredness in a right shoulder, hands and arms.
