Title alternative :Kohagura oyakata goshuseki
Copy of the Calligraphy by Oyakata Kohagura
Authors :-
Abstract :1件。20丁。25.5×18.2cm。楮紙。道光25(1845)年10月8日。 手習模範字で最終頁に「鄭嘉訓」とある。
The Oyakata Kohagura here refers to (Jihou) Tei, Kakun, who was a famous Ryukyuan calligrapher. Two characters relating to Taoism were written separately on a single side of each of the 11 pages. The strong brush strokes of Tei were imitated by tracing the outlines of characters. This was probably used as educational material and was traced by placing another sheet of paper on top. From this we can see how much Tei was respected by others. From whats written on the cover, this appears to be a model script for children.
