Title :細管粘度計による液体の粘度の測定

Abstract :Glass capillary viscometers have been used for measuring kinematic viscosity of liquids. The principle of the measurement is based on the Hagen-Poiseuille Law. The reliability of the measuring device has been tested using distilled water as a standard reference material. Then the kinematic viscosity of three kinds of spindle oils (spindle oil #2, spindle oil #5 and spindle oil #10) were measured. The results are represented by the following formulas over the temperature range from 30℃ to 50℃ ; for spindle oil #2, μ=3.166x10^<-2>x10^<(385.7/(t+176.2))> for spindle oil #5, μ=5.752 x10^<-2>x10^<(308.8/(t+131.1))> for spindle oil #10, μ=8.053x10^<-2>x10^<(281.0/(t+100.5))> Where μ is viscosity [mPa・s] and t is temperature [℃]. The accuracy of the measurements is less than one percent.
